Situated on the eastern edge of the city center, Fishers welcomes a mixed crowd, from corporate types entertaining clients to parents of students treating their offspring to a quality meal.

Good value lunch packages together with an impeccable evening menu means Fishers is rarely less than very busy. The menu alternates between exotic fare such as marlin and shark to more mundane offerings, such as battered cod and chips. But don’t be fooled: the latter is one of the best dishes on offer and a decent benchmark of how that fine British tradition should be served. The steamed mussels are also a must.
