A bistro of a piscine persuasion, Fishers brings out the best in the freshest fish – from sustainable sources, of course – by keeping it simple. Dover sole comes grilled with lemon and parsley butter. The haddock in beer batter with chips, mushy peas and a wally is a menu stalwart. Puddings like bread and butter, banana fritters, sticky toffee, steamed ginger sponge and fruit crumbles bring the gratification to a sweet and satisfying finish.
